Fabian Romero grew up in rural Dell City, Texas, where one of the only radio stations heard was country/western. He was fortunate to have tuned in to the 1970s era of country radio. Fabian fell in love with the music and by the young age of 17, he played with a band out of Artesia, NM called Jessie Ezzell and the Family Tradition. Jessie would become one of the major influences in Fabian's music career. Since then, Fabian played in various bands in different genres who traveled the US and Mexico. Some of Fabian's favorite artists include Waylon, Freddy Fender, Johnny Rodriguez, Hank Sr. and Bob Wills to name a few. Fabian's Hispanic heritage allows him to add a special twist to his music, honoring his Texan roots.
